Sure why not? - I rent a car when in LA,.so happy to have a valet parking lot right next door - If you don't want to "adventure" out to dinner, then yes- the hotel restaurants and bar are solid choicea - Right near the arena if that is of interest for you Staff: - Solid all around from valet to front desk to bar/restaurant staff Vibe: - Great feel from the moment you walk in, through the bar library area all the way to the pool Rooms: - Clean and unique! - Bathroom/shower are spacious - Espresso machine + waters are a plus All in all, if/when I need to be in the LA area, this is my go to place- as it hits all check boxes for me.

What a nice surprise staying at this beautiful hotel. From the history, decor, comfort of the room, food, fauna and flora and especially our bellman, Manny. Manny made my husband' s 70th birthday an even better experience with his hospitality! We were only there one night but our experience definitely makes me want to come back and enjoy the full experience. See you soon, Manny!

AN 1923 HISTORIC MONUMENT TO WOMENS RIGHTS - A 1920's OASSIS SEQUESTERED NEXT TO THE ARENA & FREEWAYS. In the 1920's "ladies" couldn't travel without chaperones. A group of self-emancipated women moved from New York to Los Angeles and built this haven by the women, for the women wishing to travel alone and meet other independent-thinking women. The "Hotel Fig" retains most of its historic character including a coffin shaped swimming pool, high ceilings throughout and even a "secret SPEAKEASY false library shelf opening to a forbidden pleasure of bootleg served during prohibition. Casual and communal seating near the bar.where food can be ordered with some interesting wines by the glass. The breakfast was a feast for the senses. The room faces the morning sun flooding the two story high breakfast room almost to the high level of cuisine therein. The Sunday morning we enjoyed in this lovely room was enhanced by the cheer and pleasantness of the servers. The chef de cuisine of the brunch came to inquire for our pleasure which we were happy to confirm with our avocado toast perfectly assembled of the best of ingredients. My Cortado and my wife's Americano launched our day with the energy of our menu choices and the sunshine of the staff smiles. THIS IS A LOVELY HOTEL WITH WARM AND CHEERFUL TEAM MEMBERS THROUGHOUT SPACIOUS & QUIET ROOMS AND A WOMEN'S RIGHTS HISTORY SURROUNDING YOU! A JEWEL IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!
